At Faith in the Fire, our mission is simple: to help people discover, know, and commit their lives to Jesus Christ.
Our name comes from the Book of Daniel, Chapter 3.
During the Babylonian exile, King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold and declared, at the sound of music, all must fall down and worship the golden image or be cast into a burning, fiery furnace. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego would not worship any God but Yahweh, so Nebuchadnezzar had them thrown into the furnace heated to seven times its normal temperature. The fire was so hot the men who threw them in were incinerated, but Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego fell bound into the burning fiery furnace. Moments later, the king saw four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire unharmed, "and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods." Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were realised from the furnace completely unharmed, and Nebuchadnezzar decreed that "Any people, nation, or language that speaks anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be torn limb from limb, and their houses laid in ruins, for there is no other god who is able to rescue in this way.”
Through meaningful conversations on our podcast, we explore what it means to walk with God, sharing personal testimonies and experiences to inspire and guide others in their faith journey.
